BAG MADE OF NATIVE PRODUCTS

This bag is quite unique from the rest of the bags. Unlike others whose materials are mostly synthetic, this one is made of native rami fibers woven together to form this unique bag. I bought one for my mom who likes native bags because she has a strong spirit of nationality. The bag looks elegant and durable because of the materials used on it.

PEOPLE I KNOW

These two ladies are sisters of my Girlfriend who will soon to be my bride in the coming months. They are happy and well prepared when the picture was taken. The lady wearing a yellow shirt is Jane, who is also a blogger and the lady wearing the brown shirt is Joy, who is also a blogger but not full time. This picture was taken during our visit at Eden Nature Park.

10 EASY WAYS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE

Most of us want to have a lot of fortune and more fortune in life. Nobody wants to be poor for the rest of his/her earthly life. According to some experts, people who are successful in life are risk takers and they plan their future ahead. While to people who seems to have failed in their career are not risk takers and they plan their life as it comes. We must be risk takers. We should not be afraid to plunge in the the sea of challenges. These simple guidelines may help you in your quest of becoming successful in life. Follow and do it religiously.

Step 1- Find and Clarify Your Vision of Success:

If you don't yet know what you want to achieve that's okay. There are ways to find out. Ask yourself what you are good at, what you enjoy doing, and what you would be doing if money were no object. Write out an ideal scenario of you having and doing what you dream of.

Step 2- Define your Goals Clearly:

From your ideal scenario of your Vision of Success identify concrete goals. Define them clearly and write them down. Writing your goals down is very important and gives them more power than just thinking or imagining your success.

Step 3- Visualize Yourself Achieving Your Goals:

Before setting off on the path to success you must first be able to see yourself achieving your success. You must believe that you can do it. Your imagination is a powerful creative tool. Once we can vividly imagine something, it often opens the door to manifesting it (Gawain, 1997).

Step 4- Uncover Psychological Blocks to Success:

If you have difficulty with steps one and two you may have internal obstacles preventing you from having or keeping what you want. On some level you may feel undeserving of success and happiness and this may be reflected in a lack of achievement. To uncover these obstacles ask yourself how you truly feel about having what you desire. Is there any guilt attached to this? One way to uncover any blocks here is to write down why you deserve to be successful. This can reveal any feelings to the contrary. Examine where your attitudes about success came from. Write out all you fears and fantasies associated with being successful.

Step 5- Remove Psychological Blocks to Success:

Often just the awareness of negative attitudes and beliefs about success begins the process of letting them go. You can't force change, but there are different tools and techniques that may be helpful. Some of these include: positive affirmations, therapy, success coaching, support groups such as Visions Anonymous, and rituals to rid yourself of the negative beliefs e.g. write them down then burn/tear them up.

Step 6- Make a Clear Plan With a Timeline:

Consider creating a plan that breaks your goals down into 5-year goals, 1-year goals, 6-months, 3-months and 1-month achievements. After completing this plan you can do weekly goals that will put you on schedule for all of the other goal milestones. Be realistic here so you don't get discouraged.

Step 7- Chart your Progress:

It is important to assess your progress at regular intervals. Pick a day once a week or once a month, read your plan and see if you are on schedule. Reward yourself for achieving milestones. If you need to adjust your plan be realistic and do so. Also, be honest with yourself. Visions and goals can change. If you find that you no longer really want this Vision do not be afraid to change your plan.

Step 8- Enjoy Your Success!

Once you have achieved your goals and your Vision of Success it is very important to acknowledge this. Reward yourself, give yourself credit and allow yourself to feel the attendant good feelings. Don't just rush off to your next goal as if you take your success for granted.

Step 9- Cultivate Gratitude:

Having gratitude is important once you achieve your visions. Literally "count your blessings", give thanks, allow yourself to enjoy them, and relish the experience of the success you already have. This increases success by attracting more of what you currently possess. One simple way to do this is to write a gratitude list (listing everything that you feel grateful for).

Step 10- Give it Away:

Out-flowing (giving away our material gifts and talents) makes room for more to flow to us. When out of feelings of fear or insecurity, we cling to what we have, we cut this flow off. You must not only express gratitude for achieving success, you must share this success with others. Share your resources, time and talents. You are also giving it away when you tell your story to others so that they might be encouraged.

THOUGHT FOR THE DAY

People pray for miracles usually don’t get miracles… But people who pray for courage, for strength to bear the unbearable, for the grace to remember what they have left instead of what they have lost; very often find their prayers answered. Their prayers help them tap hidden reserves of faith and courage that were not available to them before.

MINITURE SUPERBIKE

When I visited Eden Nature park I saw this mini machine. I thought that this mini bike is just a dummy and an additional sights for the park. I was wrong. This machine really works and runs as fast as 120 mph top speed. Workers of the park use this machine when going to the different parts of the 12 hectare nature park. I really wanted to ride this machine but as I check my license, I am restricted in driving motorcycles. Poor me. Well, I just have to be contented with what I am driving right now.

WHAT IS A GRANDMOTHER

WHAT’S A GRANDMOTHER

In the words of third graders.

“ A grandmother is a lady who has no children of her own. She likes other people’s little girls and boys. A grandfather is a man grandmother. He goes for walks with boys, and they talk about fishing and stuff like that.”

“Grandmother don’t’ have to do anything except to be there. They’re so old that they shouldn’t play hard or run. It is enough if they drive us to the market where the pretend house is and have lots of dimes ready. Or if they take us for walks, they should slow down past things like pretty leaves and caterpillars. They should never say, ‘hurry up.’”

“Usually grandmothers are fat but not too fat to tie your shoes. They wear glasses and funny underwear. They can take their teeth and gums off.”

“Grandmothers don’t have to be smart, only answers questions like, ‘Why isn’t God married?’ and ‘How come dogs chase cats?’”

“Grandmothers don’t talk baby talk like visitors do because it is hard to understand. When they read to us they don’t skip or mind if it is the same story over again.”

“Everybody should try to have a grandmother, especially if they don’t have television, because they are the only grownups who have time.”

THE GLOVES HAD SPOKEN

I was watching this morning fight between two of the most deadliest boxers of this generation, Manny Pacquiao and David Diaz. It was in deed a fight of two respected champions fisting it out in the four-corned ring. In the first round of the match the power of the punch of Manny Pacquiao was very evident and David Diaz was a sole beneficiary of that power punch. David Diaz, the champion of the division, showed what champions are made of. Even the toughest man will not survive the bombs that Manny Pacquiao thrown. But Diaz tried to stay alive and never showed any signs of weakness.

From round one up to the eight, Manny Pacquiao ate David Diaz. In the ninth round, David Diaz realized that Manny Pacquiao is just too much for him he fell on the canvass that lead to the knockout decision of the referee in charge of the match.

For Diaz, I still believe in his power and ability to fight and fight to the end. This is second loss in his career. For Manny Pacquiao, he deserve to win and be the crowned champion in the 135lbs division. Congratulations Manny Pacquiao.

MAKING YOUR COMPUTER FAST

It's kind of a law of nature: your computer slows down over time even though nothing seems to have changed.

So how to make your computer faster again without buying a new machine?

Firstly, check how much memory your machine has. Windows always has liked to use lots of memory and modern operating systems like XP and Vista are especially greedy. If your machine has less than 2Gb of RAM memory, it's time to treat it and you to more.

Upgrading your memory to this level will make near enough everything on your computer run faster. If Windows doesn't have enough memory to work with, it will use space on your hard disk as an alternative. But hard disks are lots, lots slower than regular memory.

A memory upgrade is simple enough to do yourself - there are plenty of tutorials online to show you how - or your local computer store will be happy to help you for a small fee. The whole operation should be over quickly - it will probably take you longer to unscrew the screws on the case than it will to upgrade the RAM.

If it's only print jobs that are running slow, do the same treatment for your printer if it's possible. Color lasers especially will appreciate any extra memory you give them and will allow Windows to pass them across more of the printing job, freeing up your machine for other tasks.

If that still doesn't do enough to make your computer faster, there are other things you can try as well.

IVORY TUSK

This is one piece of history right here. This ivory tusk is sold in the internet and many are going crazy over this item. The hard reality is that this ivory tusk from elephants are illegally obtained by killing the elephant just to get it's tusk from it. With the dwindling numbers of elephants in the wild, are you willing and still eager to have this piece of history and display it in your home? This ivory tusk is much better seen and better displayed in a living elephant and not in your livingroom or bedroom.

RETURN TO NATURE

farmers here in the Philippines still patronize the local Carabao or water buffalo for plowing the rice fields before planting the rice. In some areas they use tractors or even modern planting equipments that they imported from neighboring Japan. Considering the high cost of gasoline and diesel cost, many would prefer to use the farmer's best friend the water buffalo or much here in the Philippines as Carabao.

The one that I am riding here is just a statue it is a replica of the real animal. This was pictured when I visited Eden Nature Park here in the Philippines. Even though it is not a real animal, I still dares to ride it.

DO YOU KNOW WHY YOUR COMPUTER SLOWS DOWN?

Everyday, we go to our desk and start up our computers. Most of us have the luxury of having it start up right away and fairly fast. However, others can go through a very slow and frustrating start-up. This can be annoying, especially if you need to check something on your computer quickly, or don't have much time to sit around and wait for it to begin. After all, time is money!

Automatic program start-ups

One common problem that puts a drag on your speed is programs that automatically start up. A lot of programs installed on your computer have an option to open when your computer starts up, and a lot of them have the option selected automatically without you realizing it.

Having a lot of programs running when your computer starts up is the same thing as trying to get a hundred people in one door at the same time; it's very crammed and very slow. So, this will tend to use up your onboard memory (RAM) when it could better be served accommodating your operating system.

Look for the little icons on the lower right hand corner of your screen. Right click each of these and see if you can select the option to turn off their automatic start-up function. It is no big deal if these programs don't open automatically, you can always start these program from start-all programs, when you need to.

Corrupt registry

Another cause for a slow computer start-up is problems with the registry. The registry is the single most important part of your operating system. It deals with system preferences and hardware and software configuration, as well. If the registry gets bloated and has corrupted files, this can be the cause of a slow start-up and a slow computer in general.

Keep in mind; none of this is your fault. Everything you do with your PC changes the state of the registry. The only way you can prevent your registry from getting any corruption of any kind is to not use it. This is, of course, a ridiculous solution.

There are, however, registry cleaners that are made to put your registry back in line after it has been altered. Most of these cleaners offer a free scan, so you will know before you need to purchase one whether or not it is registry corruption slowing you down.

Delete temporary Internet files

There are other possibilities that will slow a computer's start-up. One of these causes is your computer's temporary Internet files. Cleaning these out on a regular basis can speed up your computer.

With Internet Explorer 6.0, you would go to the IE window and click tools-delete browsing history and the delete temporary Internet files. This step will save the computer from loading a lot of extra stuff the next time it starts up.

Low on RAM

Another reason for a slow computer start-up is you might not have enough computer memory. Upgrading your computer's memory or RAM is a good thing to do for your computer in general and results in faster speeds and better performance. However, if your computer has just started to rapidly loose speed, it wouldn't be lack of memory, it is more likely registry corruption.

Too little RAM generally, manifests itself after a new program has been added to the computer and the performance suffers when this program is running.

The causes of slow computers start-ups can be a little bit more serious as well. For instance, you could have a virus or your hard drive could be failing. Either one of these things could indicate big problems. Before you become too scared however, it is my experience a hard drive usually starts becoming very noisy when it is on its last legs. Still, you should be aware if this happens and you should scan for viruses regularly.
